Some bowed their heads, while others held up pictures of the working-class hero who ploughed millions into his beloved club.
But all of them respected the emotional minute's silence before Rovers' game against Crewe at Gresty Road on Saturday, as a mark of respect to Jack Walker.
Rovers players all wore black armbands for their first game since Jacks' death.
Even rival local clubs honoured Blackburn Rovers' Uncle Jack.
Preston North End held a minute's silence in his memory before their home game against Sheffield United.
But the tribute was interrupted by a group of visiting supporters broke the silence.
At Turf Moor the Burnley team wore black armbands and flags at the ground were lowered to half mast.
