LABOURER Adrian Dutton was found to have a small amount of cannabis in his pocket by police who arrested him outside Utopia nightclub.
Dutton, 20, of Anchor Avenue, Darwen, pleaded guilty to possession of the drug at Blackburn Magistrates' Court and was fined £60 with £40 costs. A charge of being drunk and disorderly was withdrawn.
Ian Huggan, defending, said Dutton had no pevious convictions and asked the magistrates to take into account the fact that his client had already lost two days work as a result of his arrest and his appearance in court.
