ON SATURDAY we took some scarves and flowers to the ground to try and pay some respect to this great man who all Blackburn fans are so honoured to call Uncle Jack.

We placed the flowers and tributes onto the fencing among all the others. I looked at my son's face and saw tears rolling down his face and he turned to me and said: "Dad, I now know how you felt the day we won the Premier, but this hurts. I'm going to miss our Uncle Jack aren't I Dad?" I said: "We will all, but Rovers will be stronger for this, a lot stronger."

Jack, thank you for the memories, good ones, happy ones and sad ones, we will all miss you.

Jack, we love you and thank you, you have made mine and many other people's dreams come true. You will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace till we meet again -- the Grime family.
