BLACKBURN Rovers officials are expecting a big turn out at Ewood on Saturday as fans take the opportunity to say an emotional farewell to Jack Walker.
Various tributes have been planned before kick-off and, in a bid to ensure the ground is settled ahead of the minute's silence, club officials are pleading with supporters to get there early. "It's very difficult to anticipate just how big the demand for tickets is likely to be so we are appealing to fans to buy their tickets in advance," said chief executive John Williams.
"We've got a couple of different tributes planned before the game on what is sure to be an emotional occasion.
So it's vital we have a settled ground come 2.55pm so we can do justice to the minute's silence." No tickets will be sold after 2.30pm on Saturday so fans are urged to buy tickets as early as possible in order to avoid congestion around the ground.
