THE town of Blackburn and Rovers fans everywhere were saddened to hear of Jack Walker's death last week.
The sporting world and the fans have been paying tribute to Mr Walker in the pages of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph over the past week, and we have also set up a site for fans to pay their own tribute to Mr Walker online. The first messages had been posted within 20 minutes of the board being set up last Friday afternoon, and messages have been received from America, Australia, Canada, and across this country.
We have also set up a vote so people can say how they feel the club and the town should remember the great man.
The most popular so far is to have a statue erected outside Ewood, and several readers have suggested re-naming Ewood Park in Jack's memory.
