A FINE all round performance saw Blackpool clinch a crucial away win in the Bay 96.9 Northern Premier League match against second placed Darwen after a tight finish.
Rain delayed the start of the match and the home side set a target of 131 after their innings was reduced to 42 overs with Neil Cordingley top scoring on 40.
Blackpool reached the target in the final over of the match with four wickets to spare thanks to a fine innings of 46 not out from Mark Lomas.
Pool's best performer with the ball was professional Marcus Sharp who took four wickets for 55 runs.
