Leyland DAF lost their ninth match of the season when they were beaten by 33 runs at Broadwater.
Putting Fleetwood in to bat, the home side rattled up such an impressive total that they declared after 46 overs.
Opener Nic Coultas top scored with 76 and John Whalley made 66
In an attempt to stop the run flow, David Makinson used eight bowlers.
Stephen John, the DAF professional ,returned the best bowling figures of 2-25 from 12 overs and Prince supported him with 2-27.
DAF made a determined effort to go for the runs and David Makinson and James Aspinwall shared an opening partnership of 63 runs.
Makinson was caught by Coultas off Alex Laird for 38 with 6 fours and a six.
Aspinwall was dismissed by the same bowler for 34 and from then on it was hard going to keep up the required rate.
The last pair of Iqbal Liley and Prince added 36 runs. Liley made 32.
Laird bowled very well to take 7-50 and did most of the in pegging back DAF's effort to reach their target.
