EVERY week I obtain books from my local library at Sunnybank and this week I needed to use the toilet.
"Oh, there's no toilet here sir," I was told. "But I saw a dozen children here the other day for half an hour. What would they do?" I inquired. "Oh, they have to go home." "And what do the staff do?" I asked. "We have a staff toilet," came the reply. "Well, can I borrow the key?" "No", I was told firmly.
Bury Council is continually asking residents to visit their local library, to borrow books, to learn, and to use computers etc. I think the situation is a disgrace. Get a toilet for the public to use.
