THE Famous Four from Astley pub Miners Arms are real splash hits.
They banded together for a full-of-fun raft race -- earning £500 for Pendlebury Children's Hospital.
And on Monday the four -- Gary Wall, Pete Hardie, Colin Harris and Christopher Daly -- handed the cheque over to charities officer Joyce Denison.
She revealed the money would be used towards the purchase of a blood pressure united.
Team skipper Christopher, who built the raft, said the foursome completed the two-mile course along the canal from Higher Green in just 45 minutes.
"We had a great time," he said.
They were encouraged at the raft regatta by cheerleaders Sarah Withers, Lynn Harris and landlady Elizabeth Manniex.
The rafters are also pictured in mid-race.
