A CALLOUS thief burgled an 89-year-old lady living on Station Road, Kirkham, after distracting her at the door.
A man knocked at the door at 4.50pm on Sunday August 20, and asked to use the toilet. But while the lady was distracted he headed for the bedrooms and stole £50.
The thief then got into a white coloured small van parked on Coronation Road, part registration "810D". He is described as 20-25 years old, slim build, wearing a yellow T-shirt and black trousers, 5ft 10, slim face and short, black hair.
DRUNKEN youths attacked a car on Fylde Road, Poulton-Le-Fylde at around 1.20am on Saturday August 12 causing £300 of damage.
The youths forced both wing mirrors off the securely parked Vauxhall Vectra before running off.
Both are male and one was wearing a black T-shirt and beige trousers, the other a light T-shirt. LAYTON Tanning Centre, Layton Road, Blackpool was burgled between 8pm at 10.20pm on Saturday August 19 when a thief broke into the shop and stole £170 from the till.
The thief was seen to get into a vehicle which was described as a rough looking, hand-painted red transit van that had windows down both sides and appeared to be loaded with wood.
The man is described as 35-years-old, 6ft, medium build, dark brown, collar-length, wavy hair, scruffy and wearing a long sleeved sweatshirt.
TWO men approached a 41-year-old woman using the Halifax cash machine, Lytham Road, Blackpool at around 10pm on Sunday August 20.
While her attention was distracted, the two violently pushed her out of the way and snatched the £10 she was withdrawing before running off down Rawcliffe Street.
They are described as 18-19 years old, wearing dark coloured baseball caps and dark clothing with one of the males wearing tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down either side.
