A MAN is appealing for the owners of a Yorkshire Terrier, found in the Toll Bar area, to contact him.
The dog, which was wearing a brown collar but no identifying tag, was found wandering along Roby Street on Sunday, August 13.
Ray Pownall said: "My neighbours actually found him but they could only keep him one night so I volunteered to look after him until his owners can be found. He is about two years old and looks as though he has recently had his coat clipped.
"He seems quite thin which makes me think he has been out in the open for a while but other than that he is in good condition and seems to have been looked after well."
If anyone has lost their dog and recognises his description, they can contact Ray on 07967 868988.
