DOG lovers young and old are being urged to clean up after their pets during national Poop Scoop Week.
And to launch the initiative Hyndburn Borough Council's dog warden Steve Wood took his own, more than life-sized Dalmation Suzy to the park for a walk.
With him at the launch were Hyndburn councillors Brian Walmsley, Tony Dobson, John Griffiths and Tim O'Kane as well as youth a community worker Bea Foster.
The week aims to raise awareness of the importance of using poop scoops and clearing up after pets in public places.
