A MAN whose drug dealing enterprise was said to be more like a pizza delivery service than a part of the shady world of illicit drug dealing, has been jailed for 12 months.
Andrew Gorman Lamb, of Olive Lane, Darwen, had pleaded guilty to supplying amphetamine, attempting to supply amphetamine and possession of cannabis. Blackburn magistrates sent him to prison after reading a pre-sentence report and hearing from his solicitor, Daniel King.
He said Lamb was a man with no previous convictions whose "deals on wheels" had originally been nothing more than selling cigarettes outside a local factory.
He had spotted an opportunity and began to take amphetamine and cannabis to the works car park on his scooter.
Lamb, 29, was arrested by police who staked out the car park.
They swooped as Lamb was handing over a wrap of amphetamine and had a £5 note in his hand.
