WHILE waiting for a bus in a shelter on Blackburn Boulevard, I saw a young mother with two children allow them to deposit a can and a bottle on to a shelf in the shelter.
A carton of juice they were drinking from was then thrown on the floor.
This young woman could not have cared less where her children left their rubbish -- she even watched them do it.
So, if Blackburn is dirty, it is not always the fault of the council. It is mostly due to people like this young woman, who lives in the town.
