EVEN if you have never dreamed of taking part in the London Marathon before, the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals wants you to run for them.
The PDSA provides free veterinary treatment to the sick and injured pets of eligible owners who cannot afford private fees. There are 45 PDSA animal hospitals and a further 82 PetAid services in the country, providing about 1.4 million free treatments every year, funded entirely by the public through legacies, donations and fundraising events like this one. If you would like to run the London marathon in 2001, please phone Paul Wharton on 0113 275 6491. The closing date for applications is October 20.
