BURNLEY RES 4 BURNLEY reserves came from 3-1 down to beat Huddersfield 4-3 at the McAlpine Stadium last night with two goals from Alan Lee and one each from Matty Hayward and Andrew Leefos.
Chris Hay hit two for Town and Danny Schofield also got on the scoresheet for the Terriers as the home side roared to a 3-1 lead.
But two from Alan Lee saw Burnley claw back that advantage and strikes from Matthew Hayward and Andrew Leefos saw the Clarets to a remarkable victory.
Huddersfield fielded two trialists in their side but full-backs Joann Terrien and Laurent Gouaze could not help to prevent the amazing turn-around.
