AEROSPACE workers welcomed a team of air cadets who touched down at their site.

Three Air Training Corps Gliders landed at BAe Systems Samlesbury as part of a sponsored round-the-country challenge which has raised £350,000 for charity.

The firm promised to match the money raised pound for pound.

The ATC squadrons based at Samlesbury and Warton have helped raise £79,000 towards the appeal.
