WHAT'S the oddest street or placename you've ever come across?

The question arises from a car boot announcement appearing in the Star and directing punters to Ralph's Wife's Lane, at Banks, near Southport.

Who, I wonder, was Ralph and what was his missus doing having a lane named in her honour?

For me, that just about takes the biscuit as far as weird addresses go . . . but I'm sure that our readers could come up with a few others to rival it.

HOW about it, then?
