A NEIGHBOUR who was issued with a court order which bans him from plaguing people in his street has been charged with breaking its terms.
Michael Stuart Kirby, 49, who has a house in Charles Street, Oswaldtwistle, but whose address was given as York Terrace, Southport, appeared before Hyndburn magistrates yesterday accused of breaching his Anti Social Behaviour Order.
Kirby, who became the first person in East Lancashire to be issued with an order earlier this year, allegedly broke it just days later by causing unreasonable noise in the street.
He was committed for trial at Burnley Crown Court on October 13 for a plea and directions hearing.
He was given bail on the condition that he lives at his current address, does not talk or approach residents of Charles Street and does not enter Charles Street except to collect his belongings.
