AT the recent match against Wrexham at Gigg Lane, I read a pamphlet which I could only describe as scurrilous.
The fanzine containing an attack on Terry Robinson and Neville Neville is "edited" by Lee Davenport, a known critic of these two gentlemen.
As media secretary of the BFCSA, Lee Davenport gives the impression that his views are those of our Association. This is not true. Our title supports Bury Football Club and all its employees.
The only honourable thing for Lee Davenport to do now is to resign, before a motion of no confidence is put at the next committee meeting. The committee elected him and the committee can, therefore, sack him.
Chester City had a millionaire saviour, but without someone to run the football club, relegation inevitably followed. Is this Lee Davenport's hidden agenda, being in the Third Division?
