I TOOK my young grandson to the playground in Corporation Park, Blackburn, and found that all the swings were back. So thank you to the parks department.

One thing spoilt things though -- as we were leaving, the playground was taken over by teenage youths and they were occupying all the swings, so it makes me wonder how long they will last.

Could something not be done to keep teenagers off the playground? They are not a very good influence on younger children. They all seem to smoke and use bad language. Are there no park wardens any more?
