NEW plans to convert the head offices of the Nelson-based Devonshire Pub Company into a motel have been submitted to Pendle Council.
Devonshire want to transform the offices at the former Springer's sports club building into a 38-bedroom travel lodge and re-construct the existing parking spaces which serve both the offices and neighbouring Thatch and Thistle pub into a 100-space car park.
A previous scheme for a lower number of rooms and different parking arrangements was approved by the council.
The new application is set to be discussed by the council's Nelson area committee on October 9.
