WE at Ashfield House, one of the elderly homes that is being considered for closure, would like to thank you very much for your kind gift of a Collins Concise Dictionary which you presented to us recently.
Not only that, your newspaper has been very fair and thorough in presenting full information of how we residents feel about these closures and of course Councillor Bancroft's reason for proposing the same.
We still live in fear of losing our homes and we can only hope that alternative arrangements can be made that will allow us to stay in the place we love.
So once again, Mr Stuttard and staff of The Citizen, thank you for your kindness -- it is well appreciated.
Doris Thompson, Marion Friend and staff,
Ashfield House, Bispham.
