GARDENERS had the chance to show what they could do at the Great Harwood Civic Society's show.
Publicity officer Paul Dunn said 34 green-fingered locals contributed 330 displays of flowers and vegetables, and there were also photography and baking competitions at the King Street Central Methodist Church.
He said: "The wet summer has affected the flowers, which weren't so good this year, but the rest of the entries were of a very high standard."
Overall winner was Margaret Owen, of Great Harwood, and the winner of the children's section was eight-year-old Lisha Brodgrick, of Oswaldtwistle.
