LANCASHIRE fear that skipper John Crawley will be ruled out for the rest of the season with stomach cramps.
Crawley was unable to field in yesterday's National League defeat by Gloucestershire at Bristol, and he was bent double in pain in the umpires' room before heading off to the doctors.
Crawley was due to have further checks in Manchester today. But he is unlikely to play in tomorrow's floodlit National League game against Somerset at Old Trafford, and may also miss the last two Championship games against Somerset and Surrey.
Warren Hegg is set to continue as captain after becoming only the fifth Lancashire player to complete 200 appearances in the competition -- following Neil Fairbrother, Mike Watkinson, David Hughes and Jack Simmons.
