A CONTINENTAL touch could be coming to Blackburn's King George's Hall in the tasty form of a tapas bar.
The Windsor Suite is currently undergoing some development work and there is a possibility that the new-look facility could include a Spanish influence.
Tapas bars are a popular way to eat in Spain, with customers being served a selection of small, spicy, snack-size portions of food.
A spokesman for Blackburn with Darwen Council said: "The redevelopment of the Windsor Suite will create more modern, flexible entertainment and conference/seminar space for the town centre.
"The service is looking at a number of options for the new facilities, including the possibility of a tapas bar, but it is too early to say whether this is likely to be feasible."
