A MORECAMBE health fair is to be filmed by the BBC.
The cameras will be at the Holistic Health Fair to be held at the Platform in Morecambe on September 17.
They will be talking to practitioners and the public about complimentary health and filming the fair as part of a forthcoming series presented by Sue Lawley in October.
This event is being held as part of the National Heritage Gala celebrations in the resort and complimentary health practitioners from all over the North West are taking part.
There will be 35 exhibition stands covering many and varied forms of complimentary therapy, with practitioners happy to explain their work and to answer questions. There will also be demonstrations on the stage in the cafe area during the day including tai chi, Indian head massage, Hopi ear candles, shiatsu and food allergy testing. There will also be a series of free talks and mini workshops on such diverse subjects as feng shui, crystal healing and hypnotherapy. The fair opens its doors at 10.30am and for details call Joan Black on 848446.
