Wigan Rose Bridge 36 Clock Face 14 CLOCK never recovered after going 16 points down in the first 10 minutes.
But they hit back when winger Mark Chatterton went from acting half-back to score in the corner. But any thoughts of a recovery were short lived as Rose Bridge grabbed two more tries, one converted. Just before half-time Gary Devine raced through the Rose Bridge defence from 20 metres out.
After the break Clock showed more commitment and were rewarded with a try by Graham Leadbetter who kicked a loose ball forward and then won the race to the line to score. Carl Thompson converted.
The Wiganers defence was put under pressure as Clock began to get on top, but tries went begging because of poor handling, then with ten minutes to got Rose Bridge put the game out of Clock's reach with two more tries.
Best for Clock were Alan Maleedy, Danny Flynn and Glynn Walsh.
