POOL will almost certainly be without Brett Ormerod as they seek to continue their cup form in the league against Hartlepool United at Bloomfield Road on Saturday. The striker is still recovering from an ankle injury and could be out for the next few weeks.
It is not known whether McMahon will gave Phil Barnes, left, a first team place after his mixed performance against Stockport.
Hartlepool have won only one league match this season with two draws and two defeats - exactly the same as Blackpool.
Although they were defeated 3-1 at home by Shrewsbury last Saturday they beat Burnley 3-2 in the Worthington Cup on Wednesday going down 4-6 on aggregate.
ON Tuesday September 12, Pool are at home to Brighton, kick-off at 7.45pm. The South Coast team have picked up six points so far thsi season defeating Torquay 6-2 last Saturday.
