THEY'RE off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Staining!
This summer has again seen Staining youth drama group Stage 2000 put on a spectacular show after a week of special holiday workshops.
The course, managed by local singer and graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music Helen Ridehalgh, culminated with a fully costumed performance of the Wizard of Oz.
Put through their paces by choreographer Lisa Haylett, owner of Lytham's Rainbow Dance Studios, and given expert coaching by drama teacher Elaine Bennett, the children impressed the audience.
Helen says she will now be organising several future courses for the forthcoming holiday.
"It is wonderful to see the development in both character and confidence of all the children throughout the week," she said.
