A PRESTWICH-based mental health services citizens advice bureau has scooped a National Lottery grant of £175,977.
The bureau, which is run by Salford Mental Health Services, is based at the former Prestwich Hospital site and serves the Salford area.
The CAB provides an outreach advice service and raises awareness of mental health.
Staff are involved in training other agencies to improve resources to help mental health service users.
The National Lottery Charities Board grant over three years will pay for office equipment, the salary of two full-time workers while funding additional hours for the co-ordinator and associated project costs.
