YOUNGSTERS from Blackburn Glenfield Playsafe Residents Association enjoyed all the fun of the fair at their annual street party.
Parents and children from Space housing organisation properties in Little Harwood celebrated with the sound of a steel band, enjoyed party games and had their faces painted in the colours of their favourite football teams.
Stephen Jepson, chairman of Glenfield Playsafe, said: "Everyone helped out in their own way. The party was created some real community spirit." Chief executive of the Manchester-based housing organisation Space Stephen Reuben added: "It's groups like this that make the difference in communities and help turn neighbours into friends."
