PRESTON welcome back Ryan Kidd into the squad for the trip to Queens Park Rangers.
The defender has been sidelined after a neck operation in the summer but has come through two reserve games relatively unscathed although he did need stitches to a head injury after the 2-1 reserve defeat at Burnley.
Kidd is the second longest serving player at Deepdale, in his eighth season since signing from Port Vale. Lee Cartwright, who could also feature tomorrow after starting Tuesday's 4-2 aggregate Worthington Cup defeat of Shrewsbury, is the longest. Midfielder Steve Robinson is also hoping he did enough midweek to seal his first Division One starting spot of the season.
But the game at QPR is still to soon for Icelandic striker Bjarki Gunlaugsson. He has been suffering from a thigh strain sustained in pre season but is back in training this week.
North End have only lost one League game so far this season -- to Bolton -- and will be looking to build on a good victory over Portsmouth last week while Jon Macken will be aiming to add to his six goal tally so far this term.
Meanwhile, North End could have another addition to their squad sooner than expected.
American international Brian McBride's has signed a deal to come to Deepdale for six months but it was unsure when he would arrive because he was finishing off the American season.
However, his side Columbus Crew have failed to reach the play-offs and he should arrive soon.
