A FOUR-year-old boy has grown a sunflower three times taller than him.
Green-fingered Dylan Jones, of Wordsworth Road, Fern Gore, Accrington, grew the huge flower from a seed given to him by his grandma.
Green Haworth Primary School pupil Dylan, who is around three-and-a-half feet tall is now dwarfed by the sunflower, which is in the back garden and is now 10ft high.
His proud mum Deborah, 25, said: "It started life on the bedroom window sill and then Dylan put it into the back garden.
"He waters it every day and he has been comparing it to his own height. He has also grown another one which is 7ft."
Deborah, who has a daughter Hayley, eight, and lives with partner Paul Gardner, 28, added: "All Dylan's grandma's flowers have died but his have blossomed.
"He is really pleased with them."
