DISABLED shoppers face yet more hardship thanks to heartless thieves.
A £200 wheelchair donated to Radcliffe's Asda store by Radcliffe Rotary Club has been stolen from the foyer.
It follows the theft of another wheelchair donated by local Rotarians a few months ago for the use of customers.
When that happened staff rallied around to buy a replacement and they aim to do the same again.
Store spokesman Andy Findlow said: "It is going to take time for the colleagues to raise money for another new wheelchair, so, we would like to ask any Radcliffe Times reader who finds the wheelchair (grey coloured, small wheels with a Rotary Club plaque on the back) to return it to the store or, alternatively, let us know where it is so we can collect it."
Two large green and cream golf style umbrellas,-- also supplied for customer benefit, have been "borrowed" from the store but not returned.
