BUDDING artists have brought alive the story of Jesus in a mural.
And it is a work of art that would even have brought a smile to the face of Picasso. For it was his style that inspired the youngsters at Christ Church, Walmersley, Bury.
The mural was one of the highlights of a recent display for the "Festival of Talents".
The festival is to mark the millennium and, throughout the year, the church will be turned into a showcase for the talents of young and old parishioners.
The church will also be decorated with flowers, including 44 flower arrangements donated in memory of loved ones.
On Saturday (Nov 25) there will be a craft fair and on the Sunday at 6.30pm there will be a Songs of Praise. Admission is £2 for adults and 50p for children.
