Rovers v Gillingham - match preview
BLACKBURN centre back Henning Berg today warned Rovers fans to brace themselves for another game of patience against Gillingham at Ewood tomorrow.
Stockport and Wolves have both come to Ewood with a negative gameplan recently in a bid to stop Rovers from playing.
And he expects Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler to adopt a similar approach tomorrow as he attempts to become only the third manager this season to escape from Ewood with a result.
"It's going to be another hard game for us," said Berg.
"But, as I've said all along, we should be winning all our games at home.
"We've got a decent home record and it could have been even better but we lost to Watford when we should have won.
"Then we conceded a last minute equaliser against Bolton.
"But very game is tough in this league, most teams try to make it difficult for us, and I expect Gillingham to come and do the same.
"So we've got to play to our best standards.
"It's up to us to seize the initiative and go out looking to be positive."
Tomorrow's clash could be Berg's penultimate game during his second spell with Rovers unless he agrees to make his loan move permanent.
