GIRL band Bliss are to cap off an amazing year next week when they support one of the biggest pop bands in Britain at a Wembley Arena.
At the start of the year Padiham-based Bliss were performing on the local pub and club circuit trying to get their name known.
But on Wednesday they will perform in front of 12,000 fans to support superstars Steps. Bliss, made up of Abigail Jackson, Marie Atkinson, both 17, and 16-year-old Laura Heyworth, of Padiham, have already notched up an impressive list of prestigious support slots this year with acts including Heather Small, Louise, Craig David and more recently A1.
The trio will become the second East Lancashire band to appear at Wembley in a matter of weeks. Tidy from Pendle are to support Status Quo two weeks later on December 15.
