TWO former students from Preston college are taking the lessons they have learned in class on to the streets of Chorley as part of a special stage music event.
Leo Stones and Ben Booker both studied music technology at the St Vincent's Road college and now they are veterans of the club scene.
After establishing the Krush Music Development Group they are now taking music out and about to get an audience for some of the region's new DJs and musical talent.
Part Four of "In the Mix 2000" is coming soon and DJs and musicians are invited to join in the fun!
The popular Mix events -- at Chorley Town Hall -- and have been attracting hundreds of dancers and music fans .
A taster event will be held in Chorley town centre on Thursday, December 7, at 4.30pm, when two DJs and live bands will play for shoppers.
"In the Mix -- Part Four" has been organised by KDMG and Chorley Borough Council -- who hope they will be a launch pad for those aiming to get to the top on the music scene. Leo said: "We are committed to providing some top class dance events and we're taking an active role in giving musicians a platform.
"People say that nothing much happens, but they need to get involved to make it happen.
"We're inviting people to get their name and address off to our mailing list, and they will get a newsletter and information about forthcoming events."
KMDG have already organised two "In the Mix" events for this year, following on from the success of the original event at the Millennium Festival in Chorley during the summer.
