CAN any of your readers tell me why the 'Greyhound Bridge' is so called? I've been to the Maritime Museum and they think it could be linked to 'The Greyhound' at Halton.
My own theory is that it could be something to do with whippet/greyhound racing on Quay Meadow. I'd be grateful for any more conclusive information.
