YMCA A U10s 7 WYRE VILLA A 0

YMCA B U10s 7 WYRE VILLA B 0

YMCA produced two impressive and solid performances to collect all four points and remain clear at the top of the table. Steady rain fell throughout making the pitch greasy but YMCA still produced some fine football in both games. In the A game Ben Fishwick, Danny Penswick and Max Rothwell all netted twice with Jordan Holden completing the scoring. In the B encounter Adam Whiteside notched a hat-trick and Jordan Douthwaite a pair, Rob Summers and Joel Taylor both on target also.

YMCA U12s 1 OUR LADY 4

OUR Lady deservedly took all three points in this local derby. YMCA squandered some early chances and the Our Lady goal survived an amazing goalmouth scramble in the opening 15 minutes before the visitors netted from their first real chance. They converted a penalty just before the break to make it 2-0. The second half was just as scrappy with neither team managing to string many passes together but the visitors capitalised on lapses of concentration in YMCA's defence to score twice more. YMCA's only threat up front Nicky Vann reduced their deficit with a well taken goal but Our Lady were always the more determined side. Edward Cam was outstanding in a patchy YMCA display. YMCA U14s 18 WYRE JUNIORS 1

TITLE challengers YMCA totally overwhelmed strugglers Wyre in what was a hugely one-sided encounter. They raced into a 10-0 interval lead and added another eight goals in the second half with the plucky visitors notching a consolation. Sean Atkinson led the way with four of YMCA's goals and there were hat tricks for Scott Park, Adam Mitchell and Alan O'Laughlan. Nathan Parker, Carl Bennett, Chris Dickinson, Danny Dickinson and an own goal completed the scoring.

YMCA U17s 0 SOUTH SHORE YOUTH 3

THIS game was much closer than the scoreline suggests with YMCA always in with a chance of taking something from it until the closing minutes. YMCA just had the edge in the first half without being able to convert any of their chances and the visitors snatched a goal to lead 1-0 at the break. The second half was closely contested with YMCA going close several times to levelling. However, the pacey Shore attack grabbed two further goals inside the last five minutes to secure all three points.
