STEVE Waywell has several major injuries doubts ahead of tomorrow's Nationwide Conference clash with Morecambe at Hilton Park.
Midfielder Ged Kielty and forwards Ian Monk and Steve Jones have joined long-term casualty Jamie Udall on Leigh RMI's injured list.
Manager Waywell will delay naming his side until just before kick off tomorrow but admits his squad is getting a bit thin on the ground.
"It's looking like one or two of the young lads out of the reserves will have to be brought into the first team squad," he says.
Now RMI's FA Cup adventure at Millwall is over, Waywell wants Leigh to re-focus on maintaining their Conference progress. "We've not won in the league since October 7, drawing three and losing one in the meantime. It's high time we picked up maximum points again."
RMI will face a refreshed Morecambe team who have just returned from a mid-season, three-day break in La Manga organised by manager Jim Harvey, Sammy McIlroy's assistant with Northern Ireland.
Morecambe are unbeaten in six games, their last reverse was a 3-2 home defeat by Conference leaders Yeovil.
