KEVIN Glendon takes his small, but perfectly formed Radcliffe Borough squad into deepest, darkest Yorkshire on Saturday with many people wondering just who will be in the side.
Dave Collins staked his claim for a start against Farsley Celtic in the UniBond League Division One clash (kick-off 3pm) after scoring the double that took Boro through to a mouthwatering FA Umbro Trophy second round home clash with Accrington Stanley -- Paul Mullin et al -- while Simon Carden's exit on Tuesday night, he was substituted as early as the 54th minute, set the tongues wagging.
"I just needed to freshen things up," said Glendon. "Simon had a bit of a cold. He was really struggling and the substitutions did freshen things up.
"It wasn't one of Simon's better games either and Eamon Kelly did great when he came on.
"Lunty was upset about coming off too, but Collins came on and scored two goals.
"If I don't give these lads a game I won't have a squad at all soon," added Glendon.
