EACH year the Lancashire and Yorkshire Historical society organises pilgrimages to the battle areas of the First World War.
In August and September next year we plan to visit the battlefield areas of France and Flanders, taking in the Somme and the Ypres battles, also Vimy Ridge, Loos, Arras, Serre and Le Cateau.
The trips specialise in visiting specific cemeteries or memorials on request. An experienced guide will also accompany the trips to commentate on specific battles and events.
We welcome all enquires. Anyone interested and requiring further information should contact me at the address below.
Please send a medium-sized SAE for replies.
