THE Co-operative Funeral Service is helping Pendleside Hospice Light Up A Life campaign by providing a special Book of Remembrance.
The leather bound book will record the names of all the people being remembered along with the names of the donors and any special messages they wish to include.
"The book provides a lasting legacy and is an important part of Light Up A Life," said appeals and marketing manager Mark Sandamas.
The campaign involves hanging coloured lights around the hospice grounds at Reedley, each light being sponsored in memory of loved ones.
Already £9,000 has been donated.
The lights will shine throughout the festive season but the Book of Remembrance ensures that the memories will last far longer.
