A BUSINESS loan has brought swift benefits for an enterprising businesswoman with customers in East Lancashire.
The £10,000 Rosebud loan from Lancashire County Enterprises to help Bianca Dharmadasa expand her laundry business.
Bianca set up Swift Laundry Services 18 months ago, initially taking in laundry for friends, relatives and neighbours.
The business grew steadily until Bianca was able to take on two part-time members of staff.
Her client list includes Pleasington and Great Harwood Golf Clubs and the Avenue Hotel, Blackburn.
The money will help the business, which is based in Bamber Bridge, expand further. "I am very grateful for the faith Lancashire County Enterprises has in the success of Swift," she said.
Lancashire County Enterprises is the financial arm of the county council. The Rosebud Fund was set up to provide finance to small local businesses that find it difficult to raise investment capital from other more traditional resources.
