FIREFIGHTERS put their muscles behind a good cause when they helped raise money for Children in Need.
For instead of racing round with town lights flashing and sirens blaring, Blackburn Fire Station White Watch firemen took it slowly for a change, turned off the engine and laboriously pulled a fire engine round Darwen and Blackburn town centres.
The stunt raised £1,634 for the charity.
