ADRIAN Grady's query (Letters, November 22) about singer Anne Shelton brought back memories.
She sang on the wireless in the 1940s -- with, I think, Henry Hall's band or Ray Fox.
Two of her favourites were 'Sailor' and 'Little Things Mean a Lot.' She sang in many ENSA concerts and I don't think she ever went abroad like Vera Lynne, but she was great.
