TEEN pop sensations TKO are set to achieve their life-long ambition by appearing before thousands of people at Wembley Arena later this month.
The Leigh-based trio will be supporting megaband Steps when they take to the stage before a screaming audience of 7,000 people -- making it their biggest indoor gig to date.
They landed the booking -- which will see them pack the venue on November 29 -- after perfoming at Earls Court earlier in the year.
Manager David White said he hoped it would be the first of many huge gigs for the girls and that was a sentiment echoed by 18-year-old band members Katie White and Emma Lally.
Singer Emma said: "Playing Wembley is a dream come true and we still can't believe it is really happening to us."
The concert will be a huge rise to fame for 21-year-old new girl Katy Malloy, who is affectionately known as Dizzy.
The beautiful former Butlins' redcoat recently joined the group following the departure of Joanne Leeton.
But even greater fame is just around corner. For on December 21 they are set to a play another sell-out Steps gig at Manchester's Arena, which has a capacity of more than 16,000.
Katie said: "This is something that we have been working towards for such a long time."
The group has so far enjoyed modest success, selling more than 6,000 copies of their debut single, 'Girlfriend', over the Internet in October.
And recent reports suggest that many major record labels are continuing to show a keen interest.
The group's success has been made possible by Mr White, who has financially backed TKO via his record company, November Management. He has sunk more than £130,000 in the group so far, using money he won on the National Lottery five years ago.
