CUSTOMERS enjoyed a party atmosphere and Christmas music when they turned up for bargains at the Nelson Age Concern shop.
Staff dressed up in glitzy partywear to promote the arrival of their Christmas stock, which includes more than 200 items.
They played Christmas songs and carols and party songs and treated themselves to a glass of wine in the afternoon.
Manageress Karen Fancy said: "A lot of people came in and said the shop windows looked nice. People have been asking for Christmas stock since about August.
"The majority is ladies wear. We have had only four men's dinner suits this year so more donations would be welcome and we always need more volunteers."
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer should call on 01282 696650.
